    Role

    : We are recruiting for a Group Recruitment Executive to join our developing hotel group. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this newly-created role will drive recruitment activity across our hotels, through a blend of hands on recruiting and coaching and guiding hiring managers source the best people for our business. As our in-house Group Recruitment Executive you will have a key role to play in identifying and filling priority and hard to fill vacancies, creating and managing a bank of flexible workers and developing resourcing campaigns and initiatives to support recruitment.

    Location : This role is based from our central office in the beautiful heritage city of Bath, although regular travel to our hotels and other locations (e.g. recruitment fairs) will be a key part of this position (you will need your own transport for travel; we will cover your travel expenses and you can stay at the properties you visit if needed). Our central support team for Andrew Brownsword Hotels and ABode hotels work out of our beautiful town house office in central Bath, as well as working remotely from our properties across the UK when needed.
    Our stunning office in the heart of Bath is a great location to work from, as well as to collaborate with the hotel central support team and wider group businesses, which all all based under one roof.

    Hours : Full time, Monday to Friday, office hours. Although do let us know what you are looking for in terms of number of days per week/ hours as we can be flexible for the right candidate.

    Key tasks you will be doing:

  • Working within our small, friendly HR team, you will be the one leading on recruitment activity and campaigns for hard to fill posts, providing our hiring managers with advice and guidance on recruitment solutions, therefore reducing our agency worker spend.
  • Support hotel General Managers and hiring managers recruit in linewith our group values, making sure we hire based on the right mix ofbehaviours, skill, and competencies.
  • Work directly on hard to fill and priorityroles, utilising all talent banks and networks. Including screening andinterviewing candidates and shortlisting those best for our hotels.
  • Managing ourApplicant Tracking System (ATS) end to end, utilising all of the features to driverecruitment.
  • Work with and bethe key contact for all our recruitment platform providers and partners- alwaysgetting the best out of them.
  • Reduce our spendwith third parties, by sourcing suitable direct candidates through modernrecruitment methods.
  • Update and manageour recruitment advert content, making sure it is always up to date, relevantand optimised.
  • Attend keyrecruitment events and job fairs across the UK to help drive recruitment andcreate a consistent awareness of the hotel group and our brands.
  • Run and/or coordinate recruitment open days atour hotels- making sure we convert interest into applicants and hires.
  • Help to createand manage all group and hotel recruitment collateral, and content, includingteam images and videos.
  • Help manage the statutorysponsorship of oversees candidates, ensuring all necessary information is inplace and they are given a great introduction to our business.
  • Be part of thewider group HR team, helping and supporting in all HR areas, where needed.
  • What you'll need:

  • A recruitment background within hospitality, with good contacts and connections within the industry.
  • A love for recruiting people
  • To be tech and social media savvy and very confident with online digital platforms (we like digital HR and to avoid paper wherever we can)
  • Experience using/ managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) would be very beneficial.
  • To be good with data- and to be able to use metrics to simply analyse recruitment performance.
  • Good commercial awareness, and capability to work at pace and really well under pressure.
  • Be happy to sometimes work on your own and sometimes in a shared office space, whilst communicating across our business remotely.
  • Ability and mindset to travel for work when needed,including overnight stays (at our hotels) at times.
  • To be team orientated, self-motivated anddriven to succeed.
  • To be committed to your own personal development and be able to learn and work on the prefer coaching rather than loads of classroom style training
  • To be a great communicator with all round good people skills.
  • Great attention to detail and excellentwritten communication.
