Accounts Payable Supervisor


Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager the Accounts Payable Supervisor will Supervise SME Team to ensure all tasks are completed within SLAs.

Escalations are managed and resolved swiftly. SME members are effectively managed and supported in their roles. Provides SME input for specific systems and processes.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Absence planning and Sickness Management
  • Team Management
  • Team development & training
  • Annual Review and ongoing appraisals
  • Docuware: Management of Users & Tasks
  • Vixen System AP Processing & Issue Resolution
  • Maximo System AP Processing & Issue Resolution
  • EVO AP Processing & Issue Resolution
  • Payment Runs
  • Omnichannel
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by management

Qualifications
Essential

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent;
Maths & English pass grades

  • Actively studying ATT or equivalent
Desirable

  • Alevel or equivalent

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 18 months experience in a busy Purchase Ledger Department at senior level.
Laptop/PC proficient with MSOffice, with good Excel & Word Skills.

  • Strong Supplier relationship management skills
  • Systems: Maximo, Vixen, Docuware, Omnichannel, SUN
  • Supervisory experience either in AP or similar office environment (Ideal)
