Finance Assistant for a fast growth SME, based in Ipswich. This business take pride in working together towards their success, with creating a positive impact on the environmentbeing at the heart of what they do. As a
Finance Assistant you will take responsibility for the sales ledger and credit control tasks within the business and assist with purchase ledger and ad hoc duties as required. It's integral that youcan demonstrate a team player mentality and be willing to help your colleagues where you can.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting card payments from customers
- Updating CRM
- Raising invoices
- Liaising with solicitors to recover debt
- Maintaining accurate records
- Reporting of debtors
- Resolving internal queries
- Ad Hoc tasks and assist the finance team where needed, particularly purchase ledger
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in a similar role for a year minimum
- Studying towards AAT would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- A can do, team player mentality
- Strong Excel skills
