    We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join our commercial team.

    The role of the account manager is to deliver the business relationship management strategy, deliver all commercial targets, maintain and build excellent customer relationships.

    This role will be home based with occasional travel so a full driving licence will be required for the role.

  • Role Responsibilities

  • Execute the commercial business relationship strategy that supports the long-term plans of the business
  • Upsell new business services to existing customers to expand services and increase revenues
  • Responsibility for account management
  • Review services are delivered in accordance with contracts and any customer concerns or contract issues are dealt with timely and appropriately.
  • Ensure attendance from the business relationship team at Contract Meetings where required
  • Close working relationship with Operations to understand customer satisfaction and service performance
  • Contract extension negotiations
  • Contract pricing negotiations
  • Support on new contracts ensuring these are setup correctly and understood by all parties prior to commencement
  • Lead on ensuring swift remedial action where necessary and ensure appropriate routes of escalation where required
  • Support on remediation of any contract breach notices
  • Manage expectations of the customers
  • Develop relationships with colleagues within the business
  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Promote excellent customer service in line with EMED values
  • Strong relationship building with executive team
  • Do you have what it takes?

  • Educated to a degree level preferred
  • Experience in public sector account management preferably healthcare
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time scales
  • Logical, concise, innovative thinker
  • Customer service focus and multi-site experience
  • Confident communicator
  • Flexible professional with a "Can do and will do" attitude
  • Have strong, proven analytical skills with a keen eye to detail
