    Description

    Role: Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Birchington

    Salary: £46,300 + OT

    Shifts: Late Shift (Tues-Sat)

    Benefits: Overtime + Training + Medical + Pension

    The Company:

    This business are a relatively new company having only been formed within the last 20 years, and during this time they have grown exponentially year on year and have now doubled in size during this time. Being able to grow like this during tough economic times shows how secure this role is.

    They have been investing heavily in the latest automation at this site with nearly three million being spent on new machines over the last few years. They have also expanded the capacity of the site making this an extremely exciting time to join the business.

    The Role:

    The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include:

    • Reactive, Planned and Project work on various different production machinery
    • Working in an automated environment, fault finding on PLCs to Input Output Level
    • Plenty of Continuous Improvement work with your ideas taking centre stage and leading your projects through to completion.
    • Working electrically with: Sensors, Relays contactors, invertors, contactors, three phase motors, reading electrical diagrams

    The Candidate:

    The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have:

    • A Recognised Engineering Qualification
    • Experience working electrically on machinery in a industrial factory environment
    • Able to work well within a team of engineers
    • Experience working on automated machinery
