Part Time (22.5 hrs. per week), Fixed Term until March 2025.

The Night Time Economy Officer role offered by Bristol City Council will play a key role in promoting the Women's Safety Charter among local businesses, contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

What will I be doing?
You will be supporting people who work at night, through the delivery of Bristol's Women's Safety Charter.

In collaboration with the Bristol Nights partnership, you will engage with various businesses within the night time sector to offer direct support.

Responsibilities include organising training events, registering participants, and aiding in the professional growth of night workers. This new position is crucial for enhancing the sector's skills in the best practice management of night spaces.

The job delivers a suite of support aimed at bolstering the safety and wellbeing of those in the night time economy.


What do I need to have?


You should be dynamic, with excellent organisational and communication skills, ideally with experience in the night time economy, event management, and client support.

The ability to produce detailed reports and handle multiple deadlines is crucial.

This role suits someone who is adept at engaging with a variety of business groups and can excel in a dynamic environment.

How do I apply?
**For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.

If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.

Additional Information
This is a part time role, 22.5 hours per week and is a fixed term contract until March 2025.

Your working days will be flexible, with very occasional evening and weekend work, in line with the needs of the role.
