A look into the role
As a Sustainability Reporting Advisory - Associate Director you will:
- Engages with their client's business, connecting their sustainability and financial reporting requirements with their commercial decisions, and is the key contact for day-to-day queries
- Supervises the delivery of multiple projects in relation to timescales, budgets, and risk management procedures, and provides support and coaching to the team
- Manages, motivates, and coaches team members and provides feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options
- Manages deadlines and the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, gross margin, fee income and client service
- Responsibility for the resourcing of team projects and productivity levels
- Manages the overall risk of engagements and consults as necessary
Joining us as a Sustainability Reporting Advisor Associate Director, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a large portfolio of clients.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
- Experience in managing a medium to large portfolio of clients or projects
- Experience in a sustainability reporting or accounting advisory function
- Technical sustainability reporting experience and/or accounting experience and knowledge of TCFD, IFRS Sustainability Standards, IFRS, UK GAAP and Companies Act. GRI, SASB, CSRD or EU Taxonomy experience is favourable.
- Experience in leading teams, project management and developing client relationships
- Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues
- Experience in business development and growing the business
