    We are seeking an experienced Payroll Practitioner to ensure Houlihan Lokey's payroll process is executed flawlessly and will scale with the growth of our business.

    This is an amazing opportunity to be a key contributor to the payroll team. This role reports into the International Payroll Supervisor.

    The Payroll Practitioner will work closely with our Workday HRIS, Compensation, Human Resources Operations, Benefits, and International Payroll Vendor/Platform teams.

    This is a hybrid working position which requires a minimum of 2-3 days working in our London office.

    As the UK & EMEA Payroll Practitioner, you will:
    Process monthly payrolls for Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Sweden
    Be the first point of contact for all EMEA and United Kingdom payroll related queries
    Work with external payroll partners to understand local policies and unique salary proration, time off accruals, and maternity calculations
    Process United Kingdom pension plan deductions (auto-enrollments, Opt-ins and Opt-outs, employer pension) in the company's MHR iTrent system
    Review for accuracy all public and private Germany health insurance documents from employees
    Consult with payroll bureaus and HR to ensure payrolls are processed in accordance with current payroll legislation and collective bargaining agreements
    Comply with GDPR regulations and maintain payroll confidentiality

    Process timely and accurate payment of taxes and pension
    Fluent communication skills in both German and English languages (verbal and written)
    ~3+ years of advanced Germany and United Kingdom payroll experience
    ~ Experience with in-house payroll systems and local in-country partners
    ~ Experience with DATEV Software
    ~ Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws in Europe (e.g., Intermediate to high level Excel skills essential for data comparisons between Workday HRIS and local system data output
    ~ Knowledge of Workday and any other HRIS desired
    ~ Proven planning and organizational skills
    ~ Client Payroll Experience, multi-jurisdiction

    Experience with MHR iTrent United Kingdom in-house payroll system
