They are currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join them for an initial 6-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension or even a more permanent opportunity.


Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to work on a major electricity transmission project near Porthmadog. This project is scheduled to run until 2029. Monitor contractor performance against agreed baselines.
Evaluate monthly contractor programme submissions and provide appropriate recommendations.
Review compensation event submissions including impacted programmes.


Key Skills & Requirements:
Experienced Planning Engineer with significant construction industry experience (electricity transmission industry experience would be beneficial, but not essential). Significant experience of using Primavera P6 planning software.
Experience of using NEC forms of contract, including programme clauses, early warnings, compensation events etc.

Experience of using Earned Value management Full driving licenceLocation:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Porthmadog site at least 3 days a week.
