Head of Data – Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

London, hybrid role

Up to £80,000 (pro-rata)

This fixed-term six-month contract offers a chance to lead and shape data strategy and management projects across the business. Your success will be measured by enhancing our data architecture, improving reporting capabilities, and utilizing management information (MI) to support our internal governance and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Expertise: Become an internal subject matter expert on data availability, management, and future capabilities.
• Data Architecture Enhancement: Strengthen our IT estate by creating a robust long-term data architecture, including potential data warehouse solutions.
• Integration and Reporting: Monitor integration errors, manage fixes, and design additional internal data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders and manage your workload independently.

Expected Skills & Behaviors:

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in data architecture improvement projects, knowledge of Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Project Management: Deliver IT and data transformation projects on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Successfully engage with senior stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Team Player: Support the growth of our Transformation team.
