We are looking for a forward-thinking and enthusiastic Reporting Radiographer who wants to join our friendly team and gain a wide range of experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STNHSFT) for a Band 7 Plain Film Image Reporting Radiographer to work within the Sites of STNHSFT. The department includes the provision of plain film x-ray, dental (including cone beam CT) and theatre services as well as specialist modalities, including US, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy/interventional radiology.
The successful candidate will be a role model for demonstrating our Trust's values through their leadership attributes and be committed to providing high quality, patient focused patient care.
Although the successful candidate will be employed by STNHSFT, there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required. However, this role is primarily for STNHSFT Community Plain Film services. The successful candidate will join the Community Plain Film roster STNHSFT and work across all service sites. Successful candidates will be an employee of STNHSFT and managed as per the governance arrangements currently in place for Radiology and the organisation.

Main duties of the job
The Radiology service is dedicated in facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. There are more than 30 Advanced Practitioners within the service, with specialist experience in fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and plain film radiographer Tees Hospitals is the largest hospital trust in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals. South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is already nationally recognised as one of the leading healthcare providers in England for the quality of our services. The Trust is a designated regional Major trauma centre with a 24-hour acute admissions unit and specialised services in cancer, neurosciences, vascular surgery, spinal injuries, cardiology and renal medicine.

Leadership and Improvement Training
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
