    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our clients team in the role of Senior Project Manager. This position requires a strong background in IT and Data, particularly in data operations, data engineering, and data governance areas. The selected candidate will oversee six work streams within a two-year timeline, requiring adept project/programme management skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing and coordinating six work streams related to IT and Data, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
    • Providing strong leadership and direction r, with a focus on data operations, data engineering, and data governance.
    • Demonstrating expertise in finance, budgeting, and financial management, particularly in relation to data analytics projects.
    • Being a strategic thinker with the ability to organize and plan effectively, ensuring the successful execution of the programme.
    • Providing hands-on support and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
    • Managing development, engineering, technology, and people elements within the programme, ensuring cohesive integration and efficient operations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, with a strong background in IT and Data projects.
    • Expertise in data operations, data engineering, and data governance.
    • Strong understanding of finance, budgeting, and financial management principles, with experience in data analytics projects.
    • Exceptional organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
    • Hands-on approach to project management, with a focus on driving results and achieving objectives.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Utilities experience preferred but not mandatory.
