    Description

    An experienced Fire and Security Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role is needed to join the team at this leading provider of electrical, security, and air conditioning services based in Burton-On-Trent on a full-time basis.

    You should be technically competent and familiar with all types of Fire & Security systems.

    You will become involved with an extremely busy and exciting contractor and part of a growth story with the opportunity for career growth and stimulation.

    You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have your own hand tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for ensuring effective installation, maintenance and servicing, together with fault diagnosis, and repair of customer systems. Be part of an on-call rota, one week at a time (paid retainer, currently 1/6 weeks). Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Gather information and diagnose issues, report detailed findings and rectify issues.

    Knowledge, skills & experience:

    • You should have at least 5 years of previous experience in this role and be technically competent
    • Experienced in the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems
    • Delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client
    • Proficient knowledge of a variety of fire, intruder and CCTV security systems
    • Good knowledge of industry standards.
    • Great communication skills.
    • Promote and adhere to best practices in the industry.
    • Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision

    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday
    • Overtime
