    An exciting opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist has arisen in our teamWe are looking for a therapist who has at least 3-5 years of clinical experience working with children with complex communication profiles, particularly in the early years.

    It is preferable that applicants have experience in using the following clinical areas:

    Intensive InteractionAttention AutismGLP supportive interventionsSCERTSIt is essential that applicants have:experience of working within a multi-professional teamexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsexcellent time-keeping skillsmembership of RCSLT and HCPCtheir own car and full driving licenseSome information about our team:We areLifelong Language, a specialist independent speech and language therapy team who deliverinnovative, play-based assessment and intervention to families across the North West, North Wales and beyond.

    We provide therapy support in a range of settings; we have a purpose-built therapy space (just outside of Chester) and we also work in a range of mainstream nurseries, schools and SEMH/SEN specialist provisions.

    We seek to provide developmentally appropriate intervention for each child, young person and family that we support. We are neurodiversity affirming and supportive, trauma-informed therapy specialists.

    We offer clinical supervision to all of our team members and we fund external training so that our clinical team continues to provide excellent care for all of our children, young people and families.

    The post is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for both adults and children, evidence of qualifications and verification of the right to work in the UK.
