Lifeguards will supervise the pool for a number of activities not limited to: classes, open pool, rental groups such as church groups and scout groups, summer conference groups, swim meets, etc.

Duties include regular testing of pool water, daily maintenance of pool / pool area, and other typical pool duties.

Red Cross Water Safety Instruction is encouraged, but can be trained, for those guards desiring to teach swimming lessons.

Constant supervision of the pool to maintain a safe environment for all present. This includes ensuring that all pool rules are enforced.
Operate pool vacs 2-3 times per week as instructed by aquatics director.
Keep pool deck clean and organize equipment as needed to maintain a safe environment.
Move lane lines as needed to accommodate the activities of the various groups using the pool.
Other occasional projects as determined by aquatics director.
