    The Opportunity

    I have an excellent opportunity for a Sustainability Manager for a Global manufacturing company based on the outskirts of London. The company prides itself on innovation and best practice and is seen as a market leader within its sector

    As part of the Senior Leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group Sustainability strategy, and lead the Sustainability conversation around the group.

    This is a key strategic role within the group and a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual.

    The role is focused on implementing real, positive sustainability change as part of their commitment to making the world better for future generations.

    With the ability to react positively to a variety of challenges, you'll flourish and grow within the Group's collaborative environment.

    The Role:

    • Develop and implement the Group Sustainability strategy
    • Support all Group companies to achieve their group Sustainability goals
    • Collaborate with group companies to increase awareness and maximise staff engagement on Sustainability
    • Promote the importance of sustainability around the Group
    • Collaborate with champions at group companies to identify and implement real Sustainability improvements, e.g. reductions in carbon emissions
    • Own the development and measurement of relevant metrics, reports and analysis to measure Sustainability performance
    • Measure and report Sustainability KPIs bi-monthly to the Group Board
    • Monitor, interpret and ensure the Group compliance with relevant Sustainability regulations and standards
    • Provide advice to the Group Board on Sustainability issues and prepare the content for the Group's annual Sustainability Report

    The Person:

    • Passionate about sustainability
    • Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills (verbal & written)
    • Effective collaborator
    • Proactive and organised, with strong ability to prioritise and project manage
    • Experience of measuring & reporting Sustainability metrics
    • Familiarity with corporate environmental reporting protocols such as TCFD, SASB, GRI etc.
    • Appreciation of the principles of environmental assessment schemes such as ISO14001
    • Accurate & logical with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Hands on and self-motivated, a quick learner & a completer / finisher

    Benefits:

    The role would be hybrid with 2-3 days at their Head office in London.
