Your roleIn the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.

You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts.

You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Required

• Primary responsibilities will be to be part of the SQL Server Migration/Upgrade activities for Azure DB Migrations including o Assessment, o Planning, o Performance Tuning, o Troubleshooting o Migration activities
• Plan and Execute the On-Prem Database/Analysis Services/Reporting Services/Integration Services Migration to Azure VM / Azure SQL DB
• Plan and Execute the On-Prem Database/Analysis Services/Reporting Services/Integration Services Migration to Private IaaS SQL Server /
• Azure SQL on VM Setup, migration, troubleshooting, HA, DR, etc
• On-Prem to Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL on VM migration activities
• Work on Microsoft SQL Server including Database Engine, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services.
• SQL Server upgrade/migration activities from SQL / to any higher version including Database Engine, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services.
• database troubleshooting, performance tuning, query tuning of SQL/T-SQL, partitioning, file group implementation and design database Indexes for high performance, as part of the migration/upgrade activities
• Work independently and in coordination with other application developers to investigate, analyze and resolve issues.
• Work with internal technical resources on project implementations and to resolve business and technical issues.

Preferred

• Knowledge of SAN infrastructure, Network, DNS routing, Active Directory is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced multi-cultural environment.
• Working knowledge/experience with scripting tools like PowerShell, VBA, Azure Pipelines for DB, etc.
• Experience is designing, developing and maintaining data models using Erwin or similar Data Modeling tools is a plusPersonalBesides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile
