Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant looking to progress their career in a standalone accounting position within a successful and busy Engineering business.

This is a sole accounting role with the support of company directorsand an external accountant.

The role:

Preparation of Management Accounts and presentation to management
Cost and margin planning
Balance sheet reconciliations
Budgets and forecasting
Cashflow management
Update of bill of materials
VAT returns
CIS returns
Intrastat returns
Bank reconciliations
Payroll for a small team
Supporting admin staff with invoicing

Experience:

Must be an experienced Assistant Management Accountant and either Part Qualified, working towards ACCA / CIMA or QBE with firm decision making experience.

Must have a strong character to present to the Managing Director, be pro-active, forward thinking with exceptional dairy management and organisational skills.

Use of Sage Line 50 is essential
