- Review and revise detailed engineering drawings for complex gas turbine components, providing thorough checks for accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure strict compliance with aerospace regulations, standards, and quality control procedures across all drawings.
- Mentor and guide junior draughts people, sharing your technical expertise and knowledge.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve design processes.
- Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of extensive experience in the gas turbine industry, with a focus on modelling and draughting complex components.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with strong knowledge of NX considered advantageous.
- Ability to independently perform detailed GD&T stack-up calculations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
- Experience in a lighter design role is desirable
