- Assemble and Test L3Harris product ranges to defined demand plan in accordance with build/test instructions.
- Setup of manual and ATE test equipment in accordance with Test specifications.
- Record results on Production Test Reports and/or in the manufacturing test database.
- Provide FTY and information for work carried out
- Correct and amend test procedures/reports, liaising with the Engineering Department as required to ensure suitability for production.
- Liaise with Design engineers to ensure the timely introduction of new products.
- Liaise with Design engineers to resolve technical issues on existing products.
- Provide technical support to staff as required.
- Identify opportunities for new test equipment and test jigs.
- Perform fault finding/repair on faulty equipment.
- Circuit card inspection in accordance with IPC-A-610
- Circuit card rework, both SMT and through-hole in accordance with IPC-7711/7721 (desired)
- Provide timely and accurate data for tasks undertaken including; time, quality, quantity and serialisation.
- Assisting Manufacturing and Business Unit Engineering with prototype assembly, test and new product introduction in Manufacturing.
- Assist in the identification of root causes, along with corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain a clean, working environment conforming to highest standards of EHS, ESD, and 5S.
- Ensure accurate completion of records in line with the L3Harris Quality Management System
- Relevant experience in electronic/electro-mechanical assembly.
- Competent in the use of hand tools and PCB repair.
- Knowledge of Electronic principles and testing.
- Experience working in a test environment
- Demonstrable fault finding skills.
- Experience of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques,
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to follow instruction.
