- Ensuring compliance with all the Health and Safety and due diligence measures in their area of responsibility
- Training and development of all new and existing employees within their area of responsibility, conducting appraisals and providing leadership, mentoring and support
- Manage budget expectations within area of responsibility including management of resources such as overtime, agency uses and material purchase
- Ensuring all operational expectations are achieved and outbound deliveries are successful
- Identification, development, and coordination of Continuous Improvement projects and proposals
- Previous experience working with complicated and large-stock environments (preferably within industrial stockyards)
- Warehouse Health and Safety risk management experience
- Computer literate including strong office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook
- Professional experience in Logistics and Supply Chain management
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems. (TMS/WMS/Portals/WCS/Oracle etc.) is desirable

The Opportunity/Role
Reporting to our Head of Warehousing and Logistics, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing teams to maximise efficient and smooth product flow through both the inbound and outbound processes of a stock yard and moving stock and components into storage locations, whilst driving health & safety across the estate.
