    Description

    We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help us deliver high-quality solutions to our internal customers. We are a small project team providing a shared service across business and IT project portfolios at Cloud Imperium Games. We follow the SAFe agile framework, and use tools like Jira, Confluence and Asana to manage our work. We value teamwork, communication, feedback and continuous improvement.

    You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, and will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and the Technical Project Manager to ensure projects success.

    What does a Business Analyst at CIG do?

    • You will work as a business analyst and collaborate with the project team and the project sponsor to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
    • You will create user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases and ensure they are aligned with the project scope and objectives.
    • You will facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • You will communicate with multiple IT and non-IT departments and stakeholders to ensure the project deliverables meet their needs and expectations.
    • You will identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate them as needed.
    • You will support the testing and deployment of the project deliverables and ensure they meet the quality standards and the project sponsor's satisfaction.

    What do we expect from our Business Analyst?

    • You have at least 2 years of experience as a business analyst in IT projects.
    • You have a solid understanding of agile project principles and practices and how to apply them in a small project team.
    • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • You have experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack and how to use them effectively in an agile environment.
    • You have a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
