The role:

The purpose of this role is to lead the procurement processes by influencing strategic sourcing planning and supplier contract management.


Responsibilities:


  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced in procurement policies, standards and procedures, processes and governance mechanisms
  • Strong procurement experiences with at least 5 years of experiences
  • Must be knowledgeable on Public Contracts Regulation
  • Implementing sourcing solutions and drive through benefits realisation plans
  • Planning of procurement activity including maintaining the tender project trackers for new procurement activities
  • Develop and publish approved tender documents
  • Ensure that amendments to contracts are negotiated, agreed and documented effectively and adhere to the Procurement Policy. Challenge and resolve contractual non compliance issues
  • Support Stakeholders to improve contract management, performance management and relationship management of suppliers
  • Development and analysis of Supplier Assurance utilising Supplier Health Checks to manage and mitigate risk

What you need to succeed:


  • MCIPS preferred or equivalent supply chain qualification
  • At least 8 years of procurement experience with the ability to lead the end to end procurement process
  • Strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations and Public contract frameworks
  • High knowledge of contract formation
  • Category expertise in services across Public or and Private Sector
  • IT Procurement is an advantage
  • Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
  • People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
  • Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships
  • Curious, willing to learn and a team player with motivation to succeed
