- Develop, re-write, and update all aspects of the company's Quality Management System for the Flavours team in conjunction with the Production Team Leader
- Conduct scientific literature searches on a range of topics in support of both internal and external client projects.
- Monitor and maintain chemical stocks.
- Maintain stock of all chemicals, chemical register, and associated HACCP documentation.
- Maintain good hygiene and housekeeping practices.
- Work as part of the flavours team on a variety of production, testing, formulation, dispensing, and packaging tasks.
- Minimum of a Good degree (2:1 or 1st) in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Food Science).
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- D. in a related field.
- Experience in scientific research and flavour formulation. Passion for food and beverage science.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car for team tasks
- 2 x junior chemists
- 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
