HR Administrator - Cambridge, United Kingdom - Bidwells

Our HR team is expanding and we're looking for a- HR Administrator to join us
If you're an experienced HR professional or competent Administrator looking to get into HR, this could be an excellent role for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Issuing employment offers / contracts and processing changes to terms
- Updating our inhouse database with starters and leavers
- Managing the onboarding process for our new starters, including managing HR and Benefits inductions
- Updating employee efiles and finance/payroll folders
- Managing our Learning Management System (LMS), assigning courses and producing reports
- Coordinating our firm wide training programmes, including Welcome to Bidwells, our annual Graduate / Apprentice Development Programme and our fortnightly CPD sessions
- Accurately recording and maintaining employee training records
- Arranging meetings for the HR Team
- Coordinating our annual promotion process
- Keeping our Learning & Development intranet site up to date
- Researching courses and suitable training providers
- To be involved in any adhoc projects as and when required
- To provide administrative assistance to the HR Team
What we need from you:
- GCSE grades of C and above, in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an administrative position
- Ideally experienced using training or HR systems
- IT Literate in various Microsoft products, but advanced knowledge and capabilities in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communicational skills
- Good numerical skills
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Pro active and able to use your initiative
- Any previous HR knowledge is desirable but not essential
Your package:
We will pay you competitively and provide you with an excellent benefits package: 25 days holiday (increasing with length of service and dependent on seniority level), up to 8% contributory pension, health insurance, profit share based bonus scheme, healthcare cash plan scheme (money towards dental treatments, opticians and remedial therapies).
Salary:
Up to £24,000.00 per year
