- Support new project installations of a range of technologies including EV charging, LED lighting, solar electrical works etc.
- Oversee sub-contractors who are working on new installations or remedial works.
- Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.
- Ensure all work to be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost effective manner, whilst complying with the company Health & Safety Policy

Main Purpose of Role
SaveMoneyCutCarbon delivers energy, water, and carbon reduction projects for businesses across the UK. Our approach and track record has seen us deliver over 1000 completed projects. Clients include the likes of Hilton Hotel Group, Addenbrookes NHS, Radisson Hotels, hundreds of schools and Moto Motorway Services to mention just a few. We help clients from initial consultancy including carbon baseline calculations, building audits, green financing, through to actual projects delivery.
This requires us to deliver associated electrical works including installing technologies like LED lighting & controls, solar & battery storage, EV charging, motor controls, heat pumps are just some of the technologies you will get to work on as we support a full range of decarbonisation solutions.
Our approach is that our technical team designs energy, water, carbon roadmaps and our in-house project managers have responsibility for planning and delivering these projects using a network of Approved Installers.
We now have a need for a qualified electrician who can manage and lead onsite teams to the highest standards of electrical work, ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget. In addition, this role will be capable of supporting and complete snagging and smaller works like warranty support calls.
The candidate will be an experienced Approved Electrician with all relevant qualifications, a clean driver's license (company car or van will be provided) and clear Enhanced DBS, with strong client and contractor management skills. Additional experience in any of our related technologies like LED lighting, EV or solar would be beneficial, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their own electrical competency and experience. Will be happy to travel to projects across the UK, manage onsite client relationships, but most importantly the experience that will allow you to also manage onsite teams and, in some cases, "roll up your sleeves" to support and complete electrical works.
The role will provide an exciting mix of managing onsite teams, project management of your allocated projects, access to the latest saving technologies and solutions, mixed with some hands-on electrical work. Through this mix we want someone who can contribute to shaping how we drive continuous improvement in how we deliver our projects.
