    Description

    Job Title:Structural Engineer

    Jobtype: FulltimePerm

    Salary:(up to) 40000

    JRG has astrong portfolio of work in the London & South England areasprimarily with highend residential and commercialsectors.

    We have an opening for a StructuralEngineer to join our team at our Reading office to undertakedesigns on a variety of projects from small domestic extensions tolarge residential properties and office developments. Workingalongside colleagues across SEAG you will be encouraged to developyour design experience and skills and be supported to obtainaccreditation to the Institute of StructuralEngineers.

    With project costs up to 6m and theuse of the latest design software the role offers an excitingopportunity to engage in impactful highvalue projects. Acompetitive salary of up to 40k will be offered commensurate withthe importance of this role within ourcompany.

    JRG is part of the StructuralEngineering Alliance Group (SEAG) a collective of esteemedengineering firms each distinguished in its respective field unitedby a shared vision of pioneeringprogress.

    Responsibilities:

    • Usethe latest design software to create and manage structuraldesigns
    • Liaise with keyclients and discuss design/technical solutions with team membersand stakeholders
    • Preparecalculations drawings details specifications and reports for a widerange of structures andmaterials

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inCivil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degreepreferred)
    • Minimum of 2years of professional experience in structuralengineering.
