    Connect for Health delivers the schools nursing services in Warwickshire. We are a successful and expanding service looking to recruit more nurses.

    Are you a registered Nurse, living in the Stratford area, who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, young people and families?

    The role of the School Staff Nurse at Connect for Health is to support the service to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. This programme aims to bring together health, education and other main partners to deliver an effective programme of prevention and support to school aged children and young people.

    As a school staff nurse, your priority would be helping children, young people and families achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes. You'll carry out a range of assessments, interventions and public health initiatives, working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family. Safeguarding children is an integral part of the role.

    You will provide information, advice and support to deliver an effective service that makes a difference. The wellbeing of children, young people and families is central to everything you do.

    Working hours are Mon- Fri 37 hours per week, term time hours. Part time hours will be considered as will the opportunity to work term time only. The successful candidate will be based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

    Main duties of the job

    We're looking for a nurse who is friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. Previous experience of managing a caseload, providing evidenced based care and delivering a range of health interventions to individuals on either a 1:1 or group basis is an advantage.

    You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
