    Management Accountant:

    reporting to the Finance General Ledger Lead, will be responsible for the finance function of 5 entities within the Clinical & Commercial Pharma Division of the Uniphar Group; Uniphar Commercial UK, Uniphar People UK, Uniphar Pharma BV, Uniphar Pharma Nordics and Uniphar Commercial E4H.

    Hybrid role
    Financial & Variance Analysis
    Approval of payments in line with group policy, including payroll bank files.
    Balance sheet reconciliations across four entities in three geographies.

    European subsidiaries:
    responsible for full P&L and BS, liaising with local accountants re: payroll and tax and posting relevant entries.
    Providing insight and variance analysis on monthly P&L submissions for multiple entities.
    Assisting senior staff with audit requirements – Internal and external.
    Assisting operations and commercial staff with ad hoc analysis as required.
    PAYE, P11D and Payroll relating duties.
    Fixed Asset in alignment with IFRS
    Monthly review calls with HR, payroll, and project managers as finance partner.
    Experience working with multi-functional disciplines including non-financial managers
    Experience in the implementation of best in class Financial controls and procedures

    Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at a point which allows an information-based decision to be made.

    UK and ROI Payroll experience is an advantage.
    Budget variance analysis is a distinct advantage.
    Experience with SAP and Xero an advantage.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels in a large organisation, inside and outside of the finance function
    Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at a point which allows an information-based decision to be made
