Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, including crafting compelling tender responses that showcase the value proposition of our cloud solutions.
• Solution Architecting: Meet with clients to understand their unique business needs and architect robust, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You'll demonstrate a deep understanding of how cloud architecture is determined, ensuring the solution aligns perfectly with the client's objectives.
• Design Documentation: Compile comprehensive design documents (both high-level and low-level) that detail the technical specifications of the proposed cloud solution, ensuring clarity and buy-in from all stakeholders.
• Client & Prospect Workshops: Conduct informative workshops for clients and potential customers on various cloud-related topics, effectively communicating the benefits and capabilities of Azure.
• Technical Support: Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk, providing expert guidance for more complex technical issues related to cloud deployments.
• Cost Optimization: Partner with clients to optimize their cloud spending, ensuring they leverage the most cost-effective Azure services and configurations.
• Deployment Streamlining: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline project deployment by implementing efficient deployment pipelines within Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or a related technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Architecture, including both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
• Expertise in Azure Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) for robust identity and access management.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based deployments and best practices.
• Proficiency in the Azure DevOps platform for streamlined development and deployment processes.
• Ability to script using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code templates (ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of disaster recovery and high availability technologies to ensure business continuity.
• Strong networking knowledge for secure and efficient cloud infrastructure design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
