    We are a growing energy brokerage firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions for our clients in the dynamic and ever-evolving energy market.

    As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in upholding regulatory standards and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.

    The Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing compliance measures within our firm, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, policies, and procedures related to energy brokerage activities.

    This role requires a thorough understanding of relevant laws and standards, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies.


    Regulatory Compliance:
    Stay abreast of relevant energy market regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
    Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.
    Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify areas of potential concern and recommend corrective actions.

    # Monitoring and Reporting:

    Establish and maintain a robust monitoring program to track and report on compliance metrics.
    Generate reports on key compliance indicators for management and regulatory authorities.
    Investigate and address any compliance violations or irregularities promptly.

    # Training and Education:

    Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
    Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff regarding compliance-related matters.
    # Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance audits.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance-related activities, including policies, procedures, and training documentation.
    Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory bodies in a timely manner.
    # Work closely with other departments to integrate compliance considerations into business processes and projects.
    Serve as a resource for internal teams, providing guidance on compliance matters and facilitating open communication channels.
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role within the energy sector, preferably in a brokerage environment.

    In-depth knowledge of energy market regulations and compliance requirements.
