    We are looking for compassionate and committed healthcare assistants in Preston, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in her home.

    Meet our service user

    Our service user is a charming teenage boy who lives with his family in Preston and requires support throughout the night to support his complex care needs.

    He particularly loves going on walks and exploring his favourite activities with his family, friends, and care team and throughout the day enjoys attending school.

    When at home he likes to relax and spend time playing on his PlayStation and watching the football.

    Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, attending to his clinical care needs when required and providing a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep.

    Our service user loves the engagement and interaction with his care team and can communicate and express his needs and wants.

    Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

    Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • COVID vaccinations
  • Desirable Experience

  • Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time or Part Time Nights
  • 2 - 4 shifts per week
  • 9:30pm - 7:00am
  • Alternate Weekends are needed for this position
  • Take a look at our pay rates

    Weeknights: £15.00 per hour - (£142.50 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)

    Weekends: £15.50 per hour - (£147.25 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)

    Bank Holiday: £17.50 per hour - (£166.25 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)
