The Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT) trains and educates highly skilled technicians and engineers to meet the operational demands of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.
We specialise in aeronautical engineering, electronic and mechanical engineering, nuclear and marine engineering and communications and information systems - to prepare our trainees to operate in a modern combat environment.

One of DCTT's School's, The Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (DSEME), plays a key role in delivering world-class technical training to soldiers and aviators across a variety of engineering disciplines.
Currently based at MOD St Athan, DSEME's sub-school, No 4 School of Technical Training (4SoTT) will be relocating to MOD Lyneham over the coming months, which presents an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Air Force 4SoTT.

As the Training Squadron Admin Officer, you will be responsible for providing support to the 3 trade Flights (Mechanical, Electrical and Workshops) as follows;
- Maintaining sufficient stocks of all stationery and consumables by submitting timely and adequate orders
- Maintaining the squadron filing system, manual and electronic files
- Production, promulgation and archiving of Information packups, individual course student files
- The compilation and maintenance of all training records and statistics for phase 2 & 3 students using our training database and maintaining up to date information on course and nominal roles.
- Carryout trainee arrival and clearance documentation procedures.
- Acting as Secretary for meetings when required. Producing and distributing Minutes and or Records of Decisions.
- Controlling the photocopier and other associated office equipment
- Booking in and escorting visitors to their final destination within the training squadron.
- Submitting and maintaining records of all works service requests submitted by training squadron.

- You must be well organised and proficient in time management. You'll be required to be both proactive and reactive.
