Description

Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with local contacts to ensure up-to-date knowledge on current and future market opportunities as well as continually monitoring competitor activity.
  • Assist in preparing appropriate briefs for architects.
  • Assist in collating build costs, market research and local planning policy information to successfully negotiate terms for land acquisition.
  • Work with the technical team to design economically and understand the commercial aspects of design decisions.
  • Supporting the production of presentations and information packages for use at interviews, internal meetings and public events/consultations and planningcommittees.
  • Supporting the coordination of facetoface or virtual project management and operational meetings with the preDevelopment and Management Team.
  • Providing support to the Operations Director Land Manager to provide feedback and advice to the progress of land bids.
  • Supporting the Land Manager and Operations Director in the process of preparing Board Papers and updating the Management team on all land supply and land acquisition activity.
  • Updating the Land Supply Schedule to ensure all working and project files are maintained and are uptodate.
  • Assist with identifying Affordable Housing partners to make Section 106 disposals.


Our client is looking for someone who has previous successful experience in the land acquisition process, a knowledge of planning policy and process, is committed to a progressive career and who puts team-working and collaboration, with the ability to communicateeffectively with internal and external stakeholders, at the heart of their ethos.


You will also need to possess:

  • Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint along with presentation writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • It is essential that you possess a full UK driving licence to visit possible sites.
