You will be working for an Aerospace manufacturing business that manufacture and supply metallic components globally to Aerospace, Medical and Space sectors.

You will be part of a growing business which prides itself on safety, people development and investment and is part of is part of a larger Group which consists of eight other business sites within the UK.

The business supports customers globally and has an excellent reputation for its delivery, quality and cost.


Your role:


You will be responsible for offline programming Twin Spindle, Twin Turret CNC Lathes using ISO programming code and following on to set machines, both production product and new product introduction.

The role will require an individual with experience and knowledge to set-up stable manufacturing techniques that ensures right first time and efficient production times.


Essential Requirements:


  • Tooling knowledge for use on varied materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steels, Titanium and other Exotics
  • Experience of working to tight tolerances
  • FANUC programming experience
  • Indepth knowledge and experience of using metrology equipment such as Micrometers & Calipers
  • Can work to Imperial and Metric tolerancing
  • Deep understanding of Technical drawings along with Geometrical Dimensional Tolerancing

Contracted Hours - 39 hours
4 p.m. to 2.00 a.m Monday to Wednesday.

4 p.m. to 1.00 a.m Thursday.

Hourly Rate - £16 - £18 per hour dependent on experience.

Shift allowance of £15 per night on completion of 39 hours.

2 x 15-minute and 1 x 30-minute paid breaks.

21 days holiday plus statutory per annum
