- Oversee the site SHEQ document management systems to ensure that relevant SHEQ documentation is updated and appropriately communicated.
- Holding a NEBOSH qualification is essential, and having some experience working with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Management Systems is desirable.
- Champion the implementation of corporate and site-specific SHEQ procedures.
- Manage the site's ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Management Systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, corporate, local authority, or other stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate the SHEQ risk assessment process and assist and advise as required in the development of safe systems of work.
- Drive site SHEQ programmes, goals and targets.
- Coordinate site internal and external SHEQ Training requirements.
- Attend regular site Safety Development Group meetings.
- Coordinate implementing, monitoring, and testing site emergency response plans and any associated training requirements.
- Assist and advise where required with accident and incident investigation and monitor the follow-up of corrective and preventative actions to closure.
- Ensure all routine SHEQ monitoring is completed in accordance with all relevant legislation.
- Conduct site SHEQ audits and inspections and coordinate 3rd party audits. Report, monitor, and drive the follow-up of actions.

As our SHEQ Manager, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality standards. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated site team and external support functions to uphold both internal and external regulations at our esteemed Beenham site. Leading by example, you'll work with managers on-site to foster a robust SHEQ presence across the site. Your responsibilities will include meticulously monitoring compliance, refining policies and procedures, and implementing cutting-edge management systems. In addition, you'll play a pivotal role in environmental planning, coordinate with external contractors, conduct thorough SHEQ investigations, and champion continuous improvements throughout our operations. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable for this role.
