Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role as a Head Chef at The Yard - by Silver Oak. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, training of our young team, menu planning, food preparation, purchasing, food hygiene and more. Your culinary expertise and creativity will contribute to delivering exceptional food for our customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role
• Knowledge of coffee and food pairing
• Ability to create innovative and enticing street food and menu options
• Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of different cooking techniques and ingredients
• Experience in managing a kitchen team and ensuring smooth operations
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high food quality standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Food safety and hygiene certification
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Ability to drive is a plus
