Summary


Great Arley School is a special school for pupils aged 4 to 16 years with a wide range of learning and complex needs.

We currently have 106 pupils on roll. Due to an increased number of pupils on roll there are 5 positions available. Two of the positions are permanent contracts and 3 are temporary contracts.

The posts are term-time only plus 5 INSET days to be paid pro-rata (this is a total of 39 weeks per year).

The hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.30pm.

All staff in school are expected to be flexible, in order to be able to meet the needs of all pupils.

The Governors are therefore looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant, who preferably has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.

This position is part time please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

  • A relevant Level 2 qualification
  • 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including Maths and English
