About the role
The focus of a Product Consultant is to be a key contributor to the Product Team to evangelize the product among both our customer base and prospective customers, and drive new product development through improvements and identification and resolution of unmet needs both for the customer, as well as for Idox.
The Product Consultant will be a key member of the Product Team for Lilie (an EPR solution - Electronic Patient Records) and will work under the supervision of our Head of Product & Strategy.
You will do everything from prioritising development work, building a sense of community amongst our customer base, to carrying out pre-sales activity like performing product demos.
You will be actively developing strong relationships with customers, working with others to contribute to and deliver on our product strategy.
For example, you'll be involved in running webinars, articulating the value proposition of Lilie, listening attentively to our customers and bringing your insight back to enrich our product development and strategy.
You will also liaise with all internal teams (including Engineering, Implementation, Service Desk, Sales and Marketing) to improve the entire customer experience.
You'll be involved in forward planning, pre-sales, customer awareness campaigns- including the consequences and impact of change and product enhancements for the solution and our users. In summary, you will be involved in everything from prioritising development work, carrying out pre-sales activity like performing product demos to building a sense of community amongst our customer base.
To apply, you should have some demonstrable understanding product design, able to understand product features and benefits, conduct user research and analyse product alternatives and even competitor activity.
You will be expected to learn quickly and be adaptable - as a result, you will be able to see the effects of your contribution on the product very early on.
Key responsibilities:

Product Evangelism:
- Act as a domain expert and advocate for the product both internally and externally
- Carry out effective product demos both internally and internally
- Lead user group forums to gather feedback and foster a sense of community and improve relationships among users and customers
- Carrying out regular customer visits
- Customer Feedback and support:
- Gather and analyse customer feedback to identify key areas for improvement and convert them into product ideas
- Provide any additional support to customers by addressing more complex queries and issues related to Product Ideation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to generate and evaluate new product ideas
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and workshops to foster creativity and innovation
- Utilize customer feedback and market research to identify unmet needs and opportunities for product innovation
- Product Development**- Assist in the development of product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and writing user-stories/requirements documentation
- Work closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features
- Contribute to UX/UI design that fits with customer processes
- Ensure that usability, efficiency and clinical safety are at the core of our product outcomes
- Input into the production of Product Roadmaps by providing insight derived from multiple customer feedback channels and all stakeholders.
- Documentation**- Create clear and concise documentation, including user guides, release notes and other relevant materials
- Coordination & collaboration
- Coordinate between all teams involved, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
- This may include a number of activities with a wide span of activities where you may be required to 'muck in' where you are needed to drive outcomes.
