Description

The purpose of the Client Service Manager role will involve providing appropriate support to their Private Client Investment Managers, liaising with the team and clients on a daily basis as well as day to day handling of client queries and client management.

The financial services client based in the City of London is a rapidly growing boutique multi-asset investment manager.

Their investment strategies are available in the form of bespoke accounts in a range of currencies and a risk-rated Managed PortfolioService.

These strategies seek to identify cost-effective passive solutions that benefit from market movements, as well as best-in-class active managers.


Description
The main duties the Client Service Manager will be carrying out are as follows:

  • The role will involve providing appropriate support to their Private Client Investment Managers, liaising with the team and clients on a daily basis
  • Day to day handling of client queries and client management
  • You will facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business
  • You will need to prepare investment proposals and presentations to professional connections who refer their clients to the company
  • You will be on hand to assist with monitoring the performance and work throughput of the administration, to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met
  • You will support preparation of client reviews, portfolio attribution and be expected to attend meetings when needed

Profile
The key requirements for the Client Service Manager are as follows:

  • MUST have private client service experience within investment management
  • Business awareness & strategic focus: Good knowledge of business processes and procedures relevant to role
  • Clients & Colleagues: Takes accountability for own work and completes all tasks in a timely manner. Communicates professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Adaptability: Adapts to change quickly and easily
  • Key distinction of position: Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals
