- Oversight of the systems team, covering a wide portfolio of active projects.
- Leading the wider R&D team in system design, specification and verification.
- Management of product development projects from initial concept development through design and modelling of optical, mechanical, electronic and software components.
- A PhD level education in physics or engineering.
- Extensive experience in the design and manufacture of laboratory instrumentation (including optical, mechanical, electronic and software systems).
- Good technical project leadership experience.
- A strong knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for laboratory instrumentation.
