Finance Manager - Permanent - Wigan, £45,000 to £55,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Our client is a successful service company that is seeking a Finance Manager for the impending retirement of the current Finance Manager.
This will be an interesting role working with an entrepreneurial MD for a company that is niche in its field and hasplans to carry on growing organically.
THE ROLE:
- Manage a small team.
- Produce management accounts for 2 companies.
- Quarterly management accounts, profit and loss analysis, previous year comparison and commentary.
- Assist the external auditor with the compilation of the annual statutory accounts and tax computations.
- Work with an external payroll bureau with monthly salary information.
- Set up and administer the company's pension scheme.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- VAT returns.
- Negotiating and renewing contracts e.g., utilities and insurance.
THE PERSON:
- It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience of managing a small team.
- Strong systems experience
- Sage 50 desirable.
