Isover we are looking for an apprentice trained Mechanica
l Fitter to work in our
Maintenance Engineering Team
, helping to deliver and support maximization of plant availability by safely undertaking proactive and reactive maintenance of plant equipment

The Fitter
well be a part of a highly skilled and technically minded team which consist of 5 Day Fitters, 5 Shift Fitters and a Fabricator.

What we're looking for:

Recognised timeserved apprenticeship, ideally mechanical / mechatronics.
Ability to install, maintain and repair all plant processing and services equipment
Proficient in the diagnosis of plant problems
A solution focused attitude, willing to share ideas and try new things to support our drive for continuous improvement and innovation

What you will be doing:

The Fitter will be Mechanically biased and will work alongside an Electrical Engineer on a day shift from 7:30am 3:30pm Monday
Friday
The Fitter will follow direction from line manager / planner for allocation of activities with responsibility for deciding the most effective course of action to take in order to rectify plant operational problems
The fitter will perform duties such as fault finding, PPM and reactive maintenance work to a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic plant and systems
1ST point of contact, maintaining a CMM system, following Health & safety procedures
