    Connex Education is a leading provider of staffing and recruitment solutions for schools across the Birmingham and surrounding West Midlands areas.

    Due to internal promotions and rapid growth within the team, we require a full-time, detailed oriented and customer focused Recruitment Administrator to start as soon as possible This is a fast-paced and exciting role in which you will constantly be meeting new people, organizing appointments and following up to ensure the very best in customer care.

    As a Recruitment Administrator you will be responsible for managing administrative, office duties. In addition to dealing with client and candidate service calls.

    This is a full-time role based in the heart of Birmingham, City Centre; it will give you excellent access to a career in education recruitment; a high earning and rewarding career. We are a small and friendly team who are dynamic and ambitious. You would be joining us at just the right time, as we continue to grow and expand


    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Processing DBS applications in line with Safer Recruitment Policy.
    • Verifying all right to work and identity documents.
    • Formatting profiles and CV's.
    • Payroll – processing timesheets.
    • General administration duties.
    • Carrying out reference checks with a high level of accuracy.
    • Raising purchase orders and processing expenses.
    • Keep up to date with any changes in policies and procedures.
    • Reflecting on your own performance to continually improve your knowledge, skills and development.

    Key Skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent data-entry skills.
    • Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
    • Manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • The ability to work well with others and on your own initiative
    • IT literate and able to adapt to new systems easily.

    Requirements

    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
    • The ability to work to deadlines.
    • Pleasant and confident telephone manner.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations tactfully.
    • Recent administrative experience is essential and school administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
