Our client is looking for a dependable Finance Manager, to be responsible for all financial activities and provide advice and guidance to the directors and managers for the future development of the company.

The goal is to enable the company to make soundand timely business decisions and meet its objectives.

The Finance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director. Hybrid working after hands on


Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely production of financial reports and analyse their results to make recommendations where appropriate
  • Oversee periodic activities: invoicing, payroll, VAT, corporation tax, expenses and benefits, insurances, business rates
  • Oversee financerelated operations, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met, e.g. credit control, supplier payments
  • Maintain adequate controls and supervision of financial activities to ensure integrity
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance against plans
  • Maintain projections for the company finances
  • Manage rolling budgets
  • Manage a small team of financial and administrative assistants
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for costreduction opportunities
  • Advise on investment activities
  • Bring in and liaise with external experts in specialist areas such as R&D tax credits, intellectual property, trademarking, international subsidiaries, overseas taxation, employee share ownership
  • Maintain uptodate customer and supplier contracts
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation
