TheCommunity Coordinator promoteshousing stability for marginalized individuals, supportingtheirhealth, wellness, and community belonging through recreational and community-building activitie s as well as connecting to community resources and events.

We are the fastest growing developer in Ontario creating affordable high quality efficient housing communities coupled with supportive programs to over 1200 tenants to meet their needs of health, wellness, and belonging .

Embassy Commons, London, ON

Hours of Work:
Full time , 35 hours per week. Flexibilityis required to meet program needs, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
This position is a temporary contract, endingafter 8 weeks . * Position length and hours subject to approval by Service Canada.

Working as part of a team to provide direct and indirect support to tenants in a supportive housing environment.

Helping individuals connect to community resources, supports and programmin g , developing monthly activity calendar.

Reinforcing individuals' life skills, spirituality, social and community skills by planning and supporting participation in cultural, spiritual, recreational, leisure, educational, and social activities.

Arranging and coordinating all aspects of recreational and community activities for tenants.
Documentation of events, including program planning, tracking of participants, evaluation of events.

What You Will Need : The successful candidate should demonstrate a warm, sensitive and caringapproach, the ability to work independently, be flexible, organized, responsible, and take initiative.

Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility Requirements:
Be between the ages of 18-30 at start of employment
Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Be available to work for the duration of the contract
