    How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

    Air Liquide is looking for an engaging and supportive SG Process Team Lead to be responsible for the team and business processes at our Stoke-on-Trent Specialty Gases Site.

    Location: Stoke-on-Trent
    You will be reporting directly to the SG Plant Manager.

    You would be in charge of:

    • Leading the daily performance of operational staff in production activities, with a specialism either in filling, blending and gas treatment, analysis and quality or cylinder preparation and logistics across the plant areas.
    • Delivering process safety compliance, quality products, enhanced customer experience and ensuring the team is managed and motivated effectively to deliver the operational business KPIs.
    • Supporting training and development of new team members & also conducts production activities relevant to their specialism as a team member when required.
    • The role is responsible for all associated administration processes, monitors and controls of operational costs for their activities.

    We would like you to have:

    • Leadership experience in a production environment - ideally in a gas, chemical or high hazard environment where safety, quality and customer experience are paramount
    • Experience working within a process safety environment & pressure control systems - ability and credibility to prioritise safe operations
    • Experience working within Gas & Chemical Properties - Ideally with a STEM background
    • Previous experience of Permit to Work Systems & RAMS and COMAH regulations
    • Knowledge of process review and development of SOPs via Management of Change
    • Drive to solve problems and high adaptability
    • Excellent communication and active listening skills
    • Transparent & trusting behaviors
    • Full UK driving licence is required

    Good to have:

    • Understanding of and experience with lean and continuous improvement manufacturing principles - Focus on Daily Performance Management
    • FLT licence
