INNOVATIONS TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR / BRIDGWATER - PERMANENT VACANCY

Monday to Friday 08:4- 17:15pm
Salary:
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Innovations Technical Administrator to join our manufacturing client based in Bridgwater on a permanent contract.

To be successful for this role you will have knowledge and previous experience within a quality environment or research and development role within a manufacturing environment.
Duties as a Innovations Technical Administrator:
- Support the team with administrative and analytical support
- Create and maintain filing and recording systems for all works streams
- Arranging dates and times for trials with the Operations and Planning Teams
- Ensuring the correct materials and documentation is available ahead of any trials to allow the Innovations Technologist to carry out trials in a timely manner
- Collection of samples and accurately record sample data, time and date of production, product codes and trial information needed for the trial library
- Coordination of meetings as directed including booking meeting rooms and refreshments
- Working with the Procurement Team to purchase materials for trials as directed
- Carrying out low levels testing and recording results accurately
- Carrying out analysis on trial data as directed
- Maintaining the innovations samples library, document sample data as directed and storing samples safely for easy retrieval
- Ensure that materials are sourced sustainably wherever possible
- Ensuring that chemicals or other materials are disposed of safely and responsibly in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet
- Ensuring that Quality standards and general manufacturing principles are maintained
About you:
- Ideally you will be a graduate with a Maths or Science degree, HND or similar
- Previous working experience in a Quality Laboratory, Research and Development Team or a Textile Manufacturing environment
- Great organizational skills
- Logical and calm approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical mindset and able to interpret data and make logical conclusions
- Excellent communicator within all levels of a business
- Understanding and interpretation of complex technical information and able to communicate this to colleagues and supplies
