We're on the search for not one, but TWO Admin Assistants...

    About AIMIS...

AIMIS was founded with a main aim of getting the whole construction industry using information management tools that enhance the quality and safety of working in the built environment, and we need you to bring your enthusiasm and skills to AIMIS to help us achieve that aim. We promise it isn't as boring as it sounds

We want to make the construction industry a more efficient, safer and productive place to work. What better way to do that than through utilising technology?

As part of our growing team here at AIMIS, you will work as an admin assistant / information controller for our clients across the entire supply chain and assisting the rest of the team with their day-to-day data entry activities.

    About the role...

With office working hours anywhere between 08:00 and 18:00, specific hours per week can be adjusted to the suitable applicant, this role would suit any entry level apprentice, college or university graduate, as well as working parents or anyone with the need for flexible working.

Reporting to the Information Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the collection of construction handover information from site teams and inputting it into an online database in an organised manner, compliant with industry standards.

As you become more proficient with the role, you will be expected to manage the suppliers' information deliverables ensuring file names and references are all correct prior to upload

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

There is both a part-time and full-time role available, so we're happy to discuss differing hours where needed.

Salary anywhere between £15k - £22k depending on hours and experience, but there is also opportunity to grow

You will be required to be in the office in Whitstable during your working hours as training and access to your colleagues will be required at all times. Once you have achieved mastery in your role, other flexible options will become available such as a hybrid position, allowing you to work remotely for some of your time if required.

    About you...

What we're looking for from you:

    • A true willingness to learn and develop yourself as a professional individual.
    • Good level of computer literacy.
    • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Must be human.
    • ...And I suppose an interest in construction wouldn't hurt either.

Experience with construction handover information such as operation and maintenance manuals would be especially advantageous, but not compulsory.

    About your benefits...

    What we can offer:

    • Opportunity to join a well-established company embarking on ambitious growth.
    • Opportunity to develop a solid career in the construction industry with room to grow and develop skills and knowledge on a path to digital construction management if desired.
    • Includes statutory holiday pay and pension contributions.
    • Great friendly, relaxed atmosphere
    • Will be included in social events such as charity balls, team night outs, golf days and much more
