A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Pricing Consultant to join our Global Strategic Pricing team.
This is a highly commercial role working globally to drive Experian's pricing performance and maturity.
Key workstreams include implementing and optimising our CPQ (configure, price, quote) tool, advising on new product pricing strategies, shaping insights using our visualisation solutions and leading the development of AI based solutions to drive our pricing performance.
Why this role is important to us
It's a complex, exciting and varied role that gives exposure at a senior level across Experian working across geographic and business boundaries.
The main purpose of the role is to drive Experian's pricing performance, increase the efficiency of the pricing and quoting process and look for opportunities to drive additional revenue and EBIT through intelligent, data led pricing solutions.
The Strategic Pricing Consultant will utilise and promote the very best practice and expertise available to develop and implement pricing strategies, governance frameworks, processes, and systems for driving pricing improvements in Experian.
Work that matters - What you'll be doing
- Drive, create and influence development of commercial pricing strategy across a wide range of Experian businesses.
- Own and lead specific program work streams on CPQ implementation.
- Advocate global best practice pricing tools and practices
- Develop and promote business cases for investment in pricing in Experian
- Drive internal collaboration and sharing of best practice.
- Deliver insightful pricing metrics and recommendations.
- Maintain an external perspective of developments in pricing.
Qualifications:
What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian
You will have a strong academic background and ideally possess a recognised professional qualification in business.
You will also possess a strong grasp of marketing, sales and commercial operations and be financially astute with strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels along with a strong delivery focus and drive to succeed.
Skills we're looking for are:
- Strong and proven, relevant experience in Pricing, Margin Management, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Operations Finance,
- Relevant Pricing and Margin Management/ Product Costing experience within Financial Services/Technology industry is very beneficial
- Project Management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (advance Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient in MS PBI and/or Tableau analytics
- A team player and a relationship builder with strong communications skills to work with multiple stakeholders across different geographies
